When we rose from our slumber this morning, we were greeted with a light dusting of the white stuff. Luckily it was short-lived and has disappeared with the warmth of the January sunshine. Still though, when we are faced with the reality of the winter, we can’t help but mentally zip away to the summer months. Light clothing, great accessories and open-air transport on such vehicles like a funky beach cruiser or better yet, the new Vespa 946.  The new 946 is Piaggio’s way of paying homage to the classic ride that debuted in 1946 that encompassed the brazen independence of Italy after the war. With a slender physique and penny-saving fuel efficiency, this new whip is both stylishly and intelligently designed.  Who knows, perhaps this summer you will see a sleek white Vespa cruising around Newport donning the iconic gold LKRE logo on the front. A girl can dream, right?
