Upcoming Workshop: Positive Discipline for Parents and Teachers

Positive Discipline Workshop Set for Saturday, April 27

NEWPORT, RI – The East Bay Met School in Newport will host a workshop for parents and teachers entitled “Why Children Misbehave and What You Can Do About It” on Saturday, April 27, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The workshop will be conducted by K.C. Hill, co-founder of PeaceWorks Coaching. Hill was co-director of the École d’Humanité boarding school in Switzerland and is a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator.

The workshop will be held at the Met School’s facility at 1 York Street in Newport. Registration costs $95/person or $145/couple. One 30-minute individualized coaching session is included in the workshop fee. To register, go to http://eastbaymetschool.eventbrite.com.

A free introductory session, “The Top Tools for Raising Responsible Kids,” will be held on Friday, April 26, from 7:30 – 9 pm at the Met School. This event is open to the public; advance registration is not necessary.
