City to Host Event for Hard to Recycle Items
Got old computer parts? Old trash barrels? Cooking oil? Gather them up and get ready for the city's 'harder to recycle' event April 11.

With the dawn of single-stream recycling, it has never been easier to be a good steward of household waste. Just toss your cans, bottles, paper and cardboard into the bin and be done.
But other recyclable items can’t go in the bin, like waste cooking oil, computer parts or rigid plastics like laundry baskets and toys can’t go in the bin.
If you’ve held off on tossing those items in the regular trash (kudos to you), the day you’ve been waiting for is around the corner.
