Deep discounts are filling store shelves across the Newport area.
It's that time of year when stores are moving or closing after a slow winter or are making room for new merchandise for the busy season, which means there are great deals to be had. Here are some of the best deals we've found around town:
- WISH MOVING SALE
Deal: As if the deals on designer duds weren’t already good enough at consignment store Wish, they are having a huge moving sale before they relocate up to William Street on April 1. Almost all merchandise is between $10 and $30.
Good through: March 31 - 75% OFF CHILDREN’S CLOTHING
Deal: Mommy & Me Consignment is having a 75 percent off sale on all winter clothing and footwear.
Good through: March 31 - HARDWARE STORE LIQUIDATION
Deal: Beach Hardware is closing its doors for good this week so all inventory is on sale for at least 50-percent off and everything must go.
Good through: Saturday, March 19. - LIBRARY BOOK STORES
Deal: The Middletown Public Library and have great deals at their in library book stores offering books, puzzles, videos and more for as low as 50 cents.
Good through: Ongoing - STEAK NITE
Deal: in offering a high quality 10 oz. sirloin steak for $11.95 to try to allow everyone the chance to dine out.
Good through: Thursday nights
