NEWPORT, RI — Easton's Beach in Newport is back open to swimming. The Rhode Island Department of Health closed the beach for high bacteria levels on Tuesday.

Gooseberry Beach and Hazard's Beach, also in Newport, were closed for high bacteria levels Wednesday night and remain closed at this time.
