Emmy-nominated Comedian Nick DiPaolo Set to Headline Comix at Foxwoods Comedy Club

Comix At Foxwoods presents, Emmy-nominated Stand-up act Nick DiPaolo for a three-night, four-performance show, which kicks off Thursday, October 9 at 8 p.m.

Nick DiPaolo’s honest and sharp comedy has made him a sought-after voice on stage, television and radio for years. Di Paolo’s standup demeanor was dubbed “as gentle as a starved wolverine and as predictable as a tipsy-hop through a minefield.” That said, the highly regarded comedian has earned two Emmy Nominations for his innovative and humorous writing.

DiPaolo’s career took off after he appeared on HBO’s “Young Comedian Special.” He has since written and performed four standup specials and recorded four CDs. The most recent standup effort being a one-hour Showtime special entitled “Raw Nerve.” He was a regular for the whole two-year run of “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and became a staple on the Comedy Central roasts in the 2000’s.

Tickets are currently available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster. Regular sale tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 - $60. This show is for mature audiences only. Shows will take place Thursday, October 9th at 8pm, Friday, October 10th at 8pm, and Saturday, October 11th at 8 and 10:30 pm.
