Chef Marisa Anand will share her in depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and how it lends itself naturally to vegetarian cooking. You will learn some of the basic Indian spice blends that make this country’s food so vibrant and delicious as you prepare Potato Samosas, Saag Paneer and a traditional Indian dessert. Chef Marisa will also discuss a number of the “interesting ingredients” in the vegetarian food section of the market and how you might incorporate them into an Indian inspired meal. A wine tasting to compliment the meal will be chosen by Newport Wine Cellar.
