Newport Cooks! Smoke it in Your Kitchen! - Delicious Smoked Meat, Fish & Cheese

Did you know you can smoke meats, fish and cheeses inside?  Yes, right in your own kitchen and without the fire department showing up!  In this class Chef Nancy Brush will share her unique indoor smoking technique using a traditional Wok.  She’ll teach us to prepare smoked fresh mozzarella, smoked pork chops with an apricot glaze and a fantastic smoked salmon. You’ll be able to use this smoking technique for a multitude of recipes and may find it’s even easier than stoking up the Weber or at least until the temperatures rise again. Newport Wine Cellar will provide wine for a tasting to compliment the menu.  Class fee: $50
