The Newport International Polo Series will begin Saturday at 5 p.m. on the polo grounds of Portsmouth’s historical Glen Farm. In its 21st season, Saturday’s opener will feature USA vs. Ghana, an old rival. Ghana returns to the series this year after a 15-year hiatus. The polo series has hosted teams from 25 countries across six continents in addition to teams from major U.S. cities. Concessions will be available and specialty vendors will be present. The series will continue every Saturday evening through September.
