Free Bird Walks in Roger Williams Park in May 2015
Audubon partners with the Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park to offer Saturday morning bird walks in May. Roger Williams Park is a 450-acre oasis in the heart of one the most densely populated areas of Rhode Island. The woodlands and large ponds provide an ideal place for birds to rest and feed on their migration northwards. Colorful Parula, Blackburnian, Black-throated Green, and Magnolia Warblers are among the migrants. Wear sturdy shoes and bring binoculars.
