Hotel Viking Launches 'Got Gas' Initiative

In an effort to attract tourists to Newport despite steadily rising gas prices, has launched a "Got Gas" promotion for its guests.

The promotion will offer guests complimentary parking and a $25 Visa Gift Card with any two-night stay through September 1, 2011. 

"With so many great events and sights to see in Newport, we did not want the price of gas to be a barrier to a great escape,"  Marlen Scalzi, Director of Sales and Marketing, said. 

As gas prices continue to climb and may hit the $5 mark, the Hotel Viking encourages travelers to expand beyond their "staycations" and take advantage of all the events and activities Newport has to offer this summer.
