In Photos: Curl Up and Dye Raises Money 5-Year-Old Cancer Patient

Curl Up and Dye put on a fundraiser for Middletown resident Katelyn Bailey last weekend.

Last Sunday, Newporters turned out in droves to attend third annual cancer benefit.  The event featured original art and photography on auction from local artists and even had scantily clad models selling raffle tickets.

The true purpose of the day was to raise money for Katelyn Bailey, a five-year-old Middletown girl battling leukemia. For the first two years, the fundraiser raised money for breast cancer, however all of this years proceeds will be given to help the Bailey family.

“I don’t know the family personally, but I really wanted to help out,” said Curl Up and Dye owner Jill Greenman.
