An Italian tennis star was accused of intentionally losing a 2007 match in Newport in a fixing scheme.

Daniele Bracciali lost the match to American Scoville Jenkins, 6-2, 6-1.

The Associated Press reported Bracciali and fellow Italian Potito Starace are the target of a match-fixing investigation.
