Jamestown Man Raises $54k With 23-Mile Swim
Ben Tuff swam around Jamestown to raise money for Clean Ocean Access.

JAMESTOWN, RI — A Rhode Island man raised more than $54,000 for a local charity on Monday by accomplishing an impressive feat: swimming 23 miles around Jamestown, completely nearly a full circle.
Ben Tuff, a Jamestown resident, set off from Kettle Bottom Rock at 5:30 Monday morning, southwest of Fort Wetherill State Park. His swim raised money for Clean Ocean Access, a non-profit organization on Aquidneck Island dedicated to keeping Rhode Island's beaches and water clean and safe.
