NEWPORT, RI — The public is invited to a free screening of the episode of the hit reality show "The Bachelorette" featuring the City By The Sea. On June 10, the Jane Pickens Theater, which was itself a filming location, will show the episode on the big screen.

"In March 2019 The Bachelorette filmed in our Newport community and rumor has it, in our space at The JPT," the theater's owners wrote on their website. "We are excited to watch the Newport episode together on our giant TV, better known as the big screen!"

Several major Newport landmarks were used as backdrops during filming, including Fort Adams State park, where thousands of hopefuls lined up in the cold for a chance to be cast as an extra.
