Locals Get In Free To Newport Mansions Nov. 23, Nov. 24

The mansions will be decked with Christmas trees, fresh flowers, evergreens, wreaths and much more.

NEWPORT, RI –Residents of all Newport County communities (Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth and Tiverton) as well as Naval Station Newport personnel are invited to enjoy free admission to the Newport Mansions this weekend, Nov. 23-24.

“The mansions will be decked with Christmas trees, fresh flowers, evergreens, wreaths and much more,” the Preservation Society of Newport County wrote on its official Facebook account.

Simply show proof of residency, such as a driver's license or other identification with an address, and enjoy free admission to The Breakers, The Elms and Marble House.

The Breakers opens at 9 a.m. with the last tour admission at 4 p.m. All other properties open at 10 a.m. with the last tour admission at 4 p.m. All properties close one hour after last tour admission.

Limited admission tours, including the Servant Life Tour at The Elms and Beneath The Breakers, are included on a space-available basis. Check the operating schedule for hours of operation and tour schedule for each house.
