Mad Hatter (Iced) Tea Party

Friends of
Ballard Park will host its 5th Annual Mad Hatter (Iced) Tea Party on Monday,
August 4th from 4 to 6 pm. Children and adults alike will delight in the spread
of tea sandwiches by McGrath Clambakes, Inc. and sweets created by The Newport
Sweet Shoppe. An assortment of iced teas will be served as well.

In addition
to the tea party, children will be invited to make their own crazy hat at a hat
making station, play croquet and participate in a whimsical Alice in Wonderland-themed scavenger hunt
along the park’s trails. Characters from the beloved story will be on hand to
interact with event goers.
