Monday: Flu Vaccination Clinic and Library Book Sale

A look at what's happening in and around Newport today.

  1. Innerlight Yoga is offering a free Heated Vinyasa class this morning at 9 a.m. with Nancy Escher.
  2. The RI Department of Health will hold a for the Newport Public Schools elementary and middle school students, faculty/staff, parents, and siblings from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Thompson Middle School.
  3. The Newport Public Library will hold a free (English and Spanish) with Dana Edward Ramey for children ages 4 and up today at 3:30 p.m. No registration is required.
  4. The Rogers High School Junior Varsity Football team will take on East Greenwich High School at home at 3:30 p.m. today.
  5. The Friends of the Library at the Newport Public Library which began on Saturday will continue through tomorrow, November 8, with great bargains on paperbacks, audio books, and DVDs.
