Newport Bridge Construction Schedule: July 1 And 2
Here's when to expect lane closures on the Newport Bridge this week.
NEWPORT, RI — Lane closures on the Newport Pell Bridge will only be in place on Monday and Tuesday of this week because of the July 4 holiday. Here's what to expect if you plan on heading to the East Bay this week.
On Monday, the left lane on the westbound side of the bridge will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, the open EZ Pass tolling lane without a gantry will be closed on the westbound side from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on the eastbound side from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

That same day, the left lane will be closed in both directions for most of the morning and early afternoon. The westbound side will close from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while the westbound side will close from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
