Newport Bridge Lane Closures And Construction Schedule: June 4
The right lane on the eastbound side of the bridge will be closed until the afternoon.
NEWPORT, RI — The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority has announced the construction schedule for Tuesday. The right lane on the eastbound side of the bridge will be closed through the afternoon until the right lane on each side will be closed for overnight construction.
From 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., the high speed tolling lanes and the right lane on the bridge itself will be closed on the eastbound side.
Starting at 7 p.m., the right lane will be closed on both sides of the bridge for overnight construction until 5 a.m.
