Newport Watercolorist William Heydt to Exhibit at Providence Art Club

Mr. Heydt's work will be on view through October 17th, 2014.

William Heydt, a Newport-based watercolorist will be featured in the upcoming show Heydt, McKenzie, Philbrick, at the Providence Art Club. The show will open with a reception Sunday, September 28th from 2-4pm.


Mr. Heydt holds a BFA and MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and also has trained in an Atelier school in Paris, France. His works are held in numerous collections including those of the Brooklyn Museum, the RISD Museum, Rice University, and the Newport Art Museum. He has been on the faculties of the Massachusetts College of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design.

His work will be on view at the Club through October 17th. Gallery hours are weekdays 12-4pm, and weekends 2-4pm. The Galleries of the Providence Art Club are always Free and open to the public.
