No Trash Delay this Week in Newport, Even with President's Day Holiday

It's a Monday holiday, but it's a normal Monday trash and recycling day in Newport.

It seems like trash and recycling schedules have been on delays for weeks, thanks to snow, more snow and even more snow.

Not this week — even with Monday being the President’s Day holiday.

The city’s Clean City Program is operating on a normal operating schedule this week. The Central Landfill in Johnston is open, thus there’s no delay, according to a release.
