Opportunities for Young Adults Out Of School/Work

Work and school opportunities for youth, ages 18-21, residing in RI's east bay

East Bay Community Action Program’s (EBCAP) Youth Center program is currently recruiting youth, ages 18-21, who meet certain eligibility criteria, and who are looking for employment or to get back into school (GED, Alternative Education, Industry Specific Training, or College).

EBCAP has funding through the Workforce Partnership of Greater Rhode Island to place eligible youth, ages 18-21, in subsidized employment opportunities. This means that participants are placed in jobs in the community and are paid an hourly rate no less than the minimum wage by EBCAP. Work schedules vary depending on the needs of the youth and the host employer.

All participants will be eligible for support services if they are needed. For example, bus passes may be provided until the first paycheck is earned. For more information, or to enroll, please call 401-602-8597 or send an email, with your contact information, to youthemployment@ebcap.org.
