On Thursday, May 3, 2012 held an awards assembly to announce the winners of the George Washington Letter Essay Contest, sponsored by Ambassador John Loeb of the Loeb Visitors Center at the

All Rogers sophomores in US History crafted essays on the history of religious freedom in America and researched historical background of the 1790 George Washington Letter to the Touro Synagogue.

Nick Kreis was the third placewinner, Allison Thompson was the second place winner, and Jesennia Zamora won first place.
