PHOTO: Phase Two of Rogers Goes Green Begins

With rain gardens already in place, crews begin work digging up asphalt on campus.

After several months of work during phase one of Rogers Goes Green, phase two, asphalt removal, has begun. 

Horticulture teacher at Scott Dickision during the last school year. The plan involved implementing rain gardens around campus and removal of unnecessary asphalt on the grounds. 

Dickison has worked closely with students to raise awareness among the high school population, , about the importance of rain gardens and lawn areas around the school.
