Police Log: Threats, Out Past Curfew, Teens Steal Red Bull
The following arrests were reported by Newport police. They do not indicate a conviction.

THREATS
Newport police charged Donald Francis Lee Jr., 44, 510 East Main Road Middletown, with making threats Thursday at 3:51 p.m.
Police said Lee threatened another resident of the building after a disagreement over unleashed dogs.
Police said the incident was recorded on video.

CURFEW
Police charged Joshua Massey, 18, of 3 Princeton St., Newport, with violating a court-ordered curfew.
Police said Massey was seen in a car idling on Narragansett Avenue by the Cliff Walk at around 1 a.m. early Thursday morning.

The curfew stipulates Massey is not to be out past 9 p.m.
SHOPLIFTING
Two Portsmouth 18-year-olds were allegedly caught stealing cans of Red Buill from Walmart on Thursday.
Police charged Kirklin Paul Roderick, 18, 140 Bramans Lane, Portsmouth; and Gregory Thomas Popovici, 18, of 85 Stonegate Drive, also in Portsmouth, with larceny and conspiracy at 4:50 p.m. with shoplifting and conspiracy Sept. 25 at 5:05 p.m.
Police said Roderick each stole two cans of energy drinks from the Walmart on Connell Highway Thursday at around 4:40 p.m.
They were stopped by a store loss prevention officer after leaving the store. One reportedly tossed the cans. The other was still in possession of two cans when police arrived, according to a police report.
