RITBA Public Meeting on New Median for Newport Pell

Presentation on Tuesday, March 3rd at Jamestown Town Hall

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority (“RITBA”) today announced it will be holding two public meetings ahead of the installation of the new median barrier for the Newport Pell Bridge.

Construction on the new median barrier will begin in mid March 2015 and is expected to be complete in May 2015. The median barrier will run the span of the bridge deck and will enhance the safety of bridge traffic.
