Second Rocking Sleeper Recalled Amid Reports Of Infant Deaths
All models of Kids II rocking sleepers have been recalled following reports babies rolling over and falling out, leading to injury or death.
A second brand of infant rocking sleepers has been recalled following five reports of infant deaths since 2012. All models of Kids II Rocking Sleepers are included. The sleepers were sold at stores across the country including Walmart, Target and Toys 'R' Us.
Like in the case of recalled Fisher Price sleepers, the majority of deaths occurred when infants rolled over while not strapped into the safety harness, causing them to fall out.
Anyone with the recalled sleepers is encouraged to bring them back to their place of purchase for a full refund or call the company at 1-866-869-7954 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. More information is available on the company's website.
