Start the New Year With a Cleanup at Easton's Beach

Some people sulk around the house on New Year’s Day, milking a hangover.

Others brave the cold, get out of the house nice and early and make a difference by cleaning up after people who have no respect for their fellow citizens and Mother Ocean.

If you’d rather be more like the former than the latter, head to Easton’s Beach at around 9 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The folks from Clean Ocean Access will be there for a coordinated beach cleanup prior to the Polar Bear Plunge.

The plunge is a great event to witness, especially because it benefits A Wish Come True.

Get a hot cup of coffee, collect some beach debris and start 2015 on the right foot.
