NEWPORT, RI — Construction on Storer Park is officially complete, Newport City Officials announced Friday. The park is back open to the public with a new Harbor Walk, sweeping views of the harbor and new grassy areas where concrete used to be.

The park has been under construction since February, aided by unseasonably mild winter weather. Along with building the new sidewalks, the project repaired the damaged seawall.
