You will need several slices of bread, preferably whole wheat or multigrain, two eggs, cinnamon and maple syrup or jelly to use as a dipping sauce.

Beat the eggs in a shallow dish then sprinkle cinnamon over the top and beat that in too. Cut your bread slices into strips, I got five for each slice of bread. Soak the bread strips in the cinnamon and egg mixture. Â While you are doing this heat up a pan. Â You will need to lightly grease the bottom, we used cooking spray but butter tastes great too. Â Drop in your bread strips and cook on medium until the sticks are golden brown. Â That's it!

They make a great healthy snack when your on the move and are delicious dipped in applesauce, maple syrup or jam.
