Troop 3 Newport Celebrates Scout Achievements
Twenty-six scouts were recognized for recent events and Eagle Scout candidates' leadership projects.

Troop 3 Newport held a Court of Honor recently at the Elks Lodge #104 to celebrate the achievement of their 26 scouts and reviewed recent events and the upcoming schedule with the family and friends.
A point of pride centered around the number of Eagles candidates presenting their Leadership Projects. Descriptions of Leadership Projects came from Scott Murphy, Zach Bolen, Daniel O’Donnell, Conner Flynn, Derek Hallett and Riley Bolan. Their project recipients are Fort Adams Trust, Maher Center, Cliff Walk Commission, Norman Bird Sanctuary and Pell School respectively.
Each scout took the opportunity to share his favorite experiences during recent campouts and other Troop 3 events during a Powerpoint of slides depicting summer & fall adventures. Their Champlin campout was voted best food ever.
