Vanquish 26 Wins Best New Powerboat Under 30 Feet at Newport International Boat Show
Vanquish Boats, based in Newport, are the proud winners of the Best New Powerboat Under 30 feet award with the Vanquish 26.
Newport, R.I. – Newport Exhibition Group, owners and producers of the Newport International Boat Show, announced today the Vanquish 26 Dual Console by Vanquish Boats was named the 2014 Newport International Boat Show Newport For New ProductsTM (NFNP) award winner for Best New Powerboat Under 30 Feet. The NFNP Awards are a highlight of the industry and are open to domestic and foreign products launched in the U.S. after April 1, 2014 that made their boat show debut at Newport. Judged on Thursday during the opening day of the Show, the Vanquish 26 was selected by a team of industry experts on the basis of innovation, value to the consumer, safety and aesthetics.
On selecting the Vanquish 26, judges’ comments included: “The Vanquish 26 Dual Console is a great day boat. Designed by individuals that know what it is like to entertain on a boat, it is loaded with options. Its multiple pedestal points to move the table is extremely useful and allows boaters to rearrange the space to suit specific needs. Offering plenty of storage, FUSION sound, low draft and outboard engines, Vanquish’s goal was to develop a family friendly boat and they nailed it.”
The Newport International Boat Show opened on Thursday, September 11th and continues through Sunday, September 14th, 2013 along the Newport Waterfront on America’s Cup Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island.
