Holiday help: We are in need of volunteers and donations! + other updates from the Center
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is in need of holiday donations, and volunteers this holiday season. They're located at 20 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Blvd, Newport.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED:
We are seeking volunteers to help out with our Mobile Food Pantry and Breakfast program! This is a great opportunities for parents whose children have flown the coop, retirees, or for anyone looking to give back & get out into the community. Know someone who needs volunteer hours? EDUCATION OPENINGS:
There are a limited number of spots available in the both the After School program and in Preschool at the MLK. The education programs at the MLK are licensed and taught by education professionals. DHS is accepted and scholarships are available.

JOB OPENING: TEACHER'S ASSISTANT
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center’s preschool has an immediate opening for a positive and caring person to join our team of experienced educators. The preschool at the MLK is a licensed educational program for children 3 to 5 years of age.
Hours: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm (extra hours available)
