You’ll be responsible for collecting and hand loading residential waste along with transporting it with a front-load or rear-load truck to the landfill.

The job routinely requires extensive, almost constant physical exertions, like lifting, pushing and pulling receptacles that can weigh up to 75 pounds.

You also might get on and off the truck between 800 and 1000 times during a single shift and “constantly [be] exposed to unpleasant sights and smells,” according to the job posting.

The commercial driver job entails the operation of trucks to service commercial routes in challenging driving conditions.

In Newport, the right employee will have no problem navigating small streets and backing up, since much of the time spent servicing customers is spent in reverse.

A class A or B CDL is required.

The roll-off driver position involves hauling construction debris from large high volume construction sites. There’s plenty of lifting, pushing and pulling, too.
