Why You'll Spend Sunday in Front of the TV Hating Cleveland

Today features the potential end of the Red Sox season and the beginning of Tom Brady's.

Scores of New Englanders will spend much of Sunday watching two sides doing whatever they can to win - fighting tooth and nail in a no-holds-barred melee in hopes of making the opposition fall flat on its face.

But before the presidential debate takes place, we've got some business to take care of with Cleveland.

At 1 p.m. on CBS the New England Patriots visit the Cleveland Browns. Tom Brady is making his long-awaited season debut, officially ending the Deflategate saga.

Brady is back at just the right time. The Patriots went 3-1 in his absence, but got shut out at home against Buffalo last week and have some dinged-up quarterbacks. Jimmy Garoppolo hasn't played since leaving the second game of the season with a shoulder injury, and rookie Jacoby Brissett has been placed on IR with a thumb injury.

After the Patriots play in Cleveland, the Red Sox will host Cleveland at Fenway Park. First pitch is scheduled for 4:08 on TBS, but rain is in the forecast.

Boston hopes to extend its season - and David Ortiz's career - for another day. The Sox trail the Indians, 2-0, in the best-of-five series. The Sox are leaning on Clay Buchholz, who has had another up-and-down season, while Cleveland throws Josh Tomlin.
