Winter Waterfowl

This winter, brush up your waterfowl identification skills by joining us at NBS's Third Beach property as we scan for migrating waterfowl.

In summer millions of people travel to coastal New England to enjoy pristine beaches and the freshest seafood. But did you know that in winter hundreds of thousands of ducks travel from near and far for the same reasons? This winter, brush up your waterfowl identification skills by joining us at NBS’s Third Beach property as we scan for migrating and over-wintering waterfowl. Spotting scopes and binoculars are highly encouraged but not required; please plan to be outside in cold, windy conditions.

This program is geared toward ages 12 and up.

Pre-register to secure your spot and to avoid program cancellation.
