Women's Gillette Razors Recalled For Cut Risk

The misaligned blades on the disposable razors cause a higher risk of cuts during use.

Two types of women's disposable Gillette razors have been recalled for cut risks. The blades in the razors are not properly aligned, causing an increased risk of cuts during use. The recall includes two types of Venus Simply3 disposable razors, a Venus Simply3 Disposable Razor 4-pack and a Daisy 12+1 Venus Simply3 Bonus Pack.

The recall includes the following lot numbers:

  • Venus Simply3 – Four count pack razors
    • Lot numbers:9003A17400 and 9007A17400
    • UPC: 047400315358
  • Daisy 12 + 1 Venus Simply3 razors
    • Lot number: 9009A17400
    • UPC: 047400300712

About 87,000 of the razors were sold across the country. So far, Gillette has reported only one injury. Anyone with the razors is encouraged to contact the company by calling 800-362-1258 or visiting Gillette's website for a voucher to receive a free replacement and a postage-paid envelope to send the razors back to the company.
