The session is informal but feeds into a state-mandated update that will guide zoning and major decisions for at least the next 20 years.

• New Shoreham Planning Board Delays Church Bluff Advisory (upriseri.com) — New Shoreham's Planning Board has delayed its recommendation on erosion control work at St. Andrew Parish Center while seeking more input, and set a November 9 hearing on a Dodge Street subdivision near a hotel. Members also advanced a zoning modifications amendment and signaled upcoming decisions on manufactured homes and cannabis buffers that could shape future housing and retail on Block Island.
