• New Shoreham Panel Questions Corn Neck Road Marsh Work (upriseri.com) — New Shoreham's Coastal Resilience Committee is debating whether to keep funding marsh restoration along Corn Neck Road or shift toward hardening the most vulnerable stretches and investing elsewhere. Members questioned how much protection nearby marshes actually provide, and whether thin-layer sediment work can meaningfully change long-term risk. A draft recommendation on phase two of the Corn Neck Road project is expected October 6.
