📰 News we're reading
• New Shoreham Panel Questions Coconut-Fiber Bluff Plan (upriseri.com) — New Shoreham's Coastal Resilience Committee is questioning whether a proposed coconut-fiber bluff stabilization at St. Andrews Parish Center would effectively act like a seawall and alter beach access and sand flow toward Crescent Beach. Members raised concerns about impacts on neighbors, tourism, and Scotch Beach access, and signaled that the Town Council may need to set broader policy on such erosion-control projects.
