Troopers Respond To 'Disorderly Party' And Arrest New Shoreham Man: Police
The New Shoreham man was held overnight, police said.
NEW SHOREHAM, RI — Troopers responding to a "disorderly party" arrested a New Shoreham man, police said.
Josiah Messer, 39, was arrested about 12:15 a.m. Friday on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Messer was arrested after troopers responded to a "disorderly party" outside Captain Nick's Rock N' Roll Bar on Ocean Avenue, according to the release.

Messer was taken to the New Shoreham Police Department, where he was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment, according to the release.
