2 Warwick Women Arrested After Hit-And-Run Accident: Police
The Warwick women were "located nearby," police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Two Warwick women were arrested after a hit-and-run accident in Providence, police said.
Makayla Brady, 28, and Danika Wayss, 28, were arrested shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 95, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Brady was charged with violation of a no contact order, obstruction of an officer in execution of duty, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in damage, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operation under a foreign license during suspension for revocation, according to the release, and Wayss was charged with obstruction of officer in execution of duty, disorderly conduct and resisting legal or illegal arrest.

Brady and Wayss were arrested after troopers responded to a crash on I-95 and they were "located nearby," the release said.
Each of the women was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks "held overnight pending morning presentment as a bail violator at Sixth Division District Court," according to the release.
