12-Year-Old Girl Goes Missing: North Kingstown Police

North Kingstown police are looking for a 12-year-old girl who went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Mia was last seen leaving her home on Iron Horse Terrace around 3:30 p.m. Shortly after leaving home, police said Mia's bicycle was found in the 900 block of Stony Lane.

Police said Mia is about 5 feet tall, 120 pounds, wears glass and has short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple hoodie and dark gray pants with a white stripe.

Police said around 4:45 p.m., a witness saw a person matching Mia’s description walking in the area of Devil's Foot Road at School Street. There is a large police presence in the area Wednesday night.

Anyone who sees Mia is asked to call 911 immediately.
