2018 Fall Baseball Registration for NKW Little League is Open

The fall baseball season of North Kingstown Wickford Little League is just about 1 month away. Sign-ups for a wide range of ages are now available online at our new website, courtesy of Dick's Sporting Goods. Fall Ball 2018 Rules

Continuous Batting Order in all divisions with free defensive substitutions. All players must play at least ½ the game unless the game is shortened for any reason.

Regular season pitching rules, with pitch count in effect and limit on innings pitched, 3 innings or max pitch count whichever comes first for the 8/9 and 10/11. 4 innings for the juniors and seniors.

(IF YOU THROW ONE PITCH IN AN INNING IT IS CONSIDERED AN INNING PITCHED)

8/9 Divisions:

• Games will be six innings; 10 run rule in effect after 3-1/2 innings if the home team is ahead, 4 innings if the visitors are ahead.
• 8/9 A: No rule modifications other than innings limited on pitchers. (three innings or maximum pitch count)
• 8/9 B: No running on a pass ball from third base, runner must be batted in or walked in. 9 batters end the inning except for the 6th inning (unlimited), if a game goes to extra innings its back to 9 batters ending the inning. Max three innings pitched or maximum pitch count. Steal all you want..just stop at third base please! We want to develop new catchers, not punish them for bad throws.

10/11 Divisions:

• Games will be six innings; 10 run rule in effect after 3-1/2 innings if the home team is ahead, 4 innings if the visitors are ahead, maximum 3 innings for pitchers or max pitch count whichever comes first.

12/13, 14/16 Divisions

• Games will be 7 innings; 10 run rule in effect after 4-1/2 innings if the home team is ahead and 5 innings if the visitors are ahead. Max 4 innings for pitchers or max pitch count whichever comes first.
