3rd Annual "Cause For a Concert"

Concert at North Kingstown High School November 1 to benefit Gabrielle's Heart Camp.

The third annual “Cause For a Concert” will take place Sunday, November 1st at 4 PM in the auditorium of North Kingstown High School, 150 Fairway Drive. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Gabrielle’s Heart Camp, where children with heart disease and congenital heart defects can have fun while learning life skills that will help them navigate the challenges of living with a cardiac condition. The camp is open to children from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Inspirational music will be provided by several area church choirs, the Kyrie Road Praise Band, the Ten Rod Ramblers, the NKHS concert choir and the North Kingstown Community Chorus. Each group will perform individually, followed by three musical selections from the combined choruses.

A concert to promote Gabrielle’s Heart Camp was the suggestion of Dr. Jim Zeigler, a pediatric cardiologist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital who is involved in the camp. Dr. Zeigler is also a guitarist in the Kyrie Road Praise Band.
