AdCare Opens New Treatment Center
The Worcester-based substance abuse and detoxification services provider has acquired a treatment center in North Kingstown.
AdCare Hospital, formerly SSTAR of North Kingstown, has completed the acquisition of a new treatment center in town.
The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reported that AdCare’s new addiction treatment program provides medically managed inpatient detoxification from addictive substances, crisis stabilization and acute residential rehabilitation.
“AdCare Rhode Island is being renovated to better serve our patients and their families,” AdCare Inc. chairman David W. Hillis said. “We are fully operational on one unit while we refresh our second unit.”
