The threat forced a lockdown, diverted patients, and triggered extensive searches before the hospital safely reopened, with investigators still trying to trace the non-local phone number used.

A Beginner's Guide to Recreational Shellfishing in Rhode Island (uri.edu) — North Kingstown residents curious about clamming can legally harvest shellfish for personal use, as long as they follow RIDEM rules on open areas, sizes, and limits.
