A presentation of his new book, Happiness Ruined Everything

RSVP encouraged | Pay-what-you-can | Walk-ins welcome

Some of these essays appeared, at times in different form, in the following publications: SPIN, Poetry, Slice, Poets & Writers, Ploughshares Blog, Tin House, Los Angeles Review of Books, & FENCE.

The talk will begin with a few words on the genesis of Happiness Ruined Everything, sharing the unique journey of the book to publication. Following a selection of readings, Klein will offer insights into the writing process—exploring the moments that shaped the essays but never made it to the page. The evening will conclude with a Q&A session, giving the audience a chance to engage directly with the author. Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will be hosted after the talk.
