Community Lament & Prayer for our Nation

On Wednesday, 6-8 pm, Christ Church, 1025 Main St. East Greenwich, is calling on faith communities, law enforcement, and civic leaders to join together for a time of lament, prayer, and dialog in light of the shootings in St. Paul, Baton Rouge, and Dallas. The goal is for healing, for justice, for understanding, and for reconciliation.
Lyle Mook, Sr. Pastor, on behalf of the pastors and leaders of the church, invites anyone to come for all or part of the time. All over the country, there is a movement to rekindle the ties within local communities, across lines of faith and politics, race and ethnicity for the greater good and the shalom (peace and flourishing) of our communities.
